We are looking for a highly experienced Scrum Master/BA to help us grow and manage a skilled, multi-disciplinary team in London, and you will play a key leadership role in the delivery of our complex technology and business solutions.
In this role, you will
Help shape Dashly’s Scrum process and enhance our delivery methodology.
Create a culture of continuous improvement within the team to remove barriers that slow them down to maximise product delivery.
Own, advocate, evolve and teach Agile (Scrum) processes, ensuring that the team follows best practices and actively looks for opportunities to continuously improve.
Organise and facilitate sprint planning, daily standup, retrospectives, recurring backlog refinement meetings, release planning, demos and other related agile ceremonies.
Coordinate with other scrum masters in a scaled agile environment (only one team at the moment).
Create and adhere to “Definition of Done” and “Definition of Ready” descriptions.
Create definitive epics, user stories and acceptance criteria that conform to the team’s “Definition of Ready”.
Assist the team with making appropriate delivery commitments through story selection, story refinement, poker planning, velocity monitoring and task definition.
Manage and account for team resources in sprints.
Use Azure DevOps/Jira to track backlog, assign tasks, manage time, and produce reports.
Be comfortable discussing concepts related to UX, design, and technology.
Promote open communication within and across teams.
Facilitate retrospective meetings at the end of each sprint and ensure any action items are owned and completed within the identified timeframe.
Conduct “show and tell” sessions with stakeholders at the end of each sprint to demonstrate progress and agree story completion.
Create visibility to ‘what’ and ‘how’ teams are performing.
Are highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills and are able to work with diverse personality types.
Have demonstrable experience of Azure DevOps/JIRA or similar tools for managing stories, backlog, sprints, pull requests, GIT feature branches etc.
Have excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Are able to influence and persuade at all levels.
Can work effectively in a rapidly changing, fluid and dynamic environment.
Can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and remain calm in stressful situations.
Have at least 5 years prior experience working as a tech lead or architect and continue to be up to speed with agile and technological trends and best practices.
Certified Scrum Master.
3-5 years of Scrum Master experience with in-depth knowledge of Scrum and implementation of Agile Methodologies simultaneously across multiple teams.
Expertise in Scrum including the value, principles and ceremonies and how they are applied in enterprise environments.
Expertise in more than one agile methodologies (Lean, Kanban, XP, TDD, CI) and how they can be applied in a product development/program delivery environment.
Familiarity with modern software engineering techniques such as CI/CD, build, deliver, automated tests, feature flagging, test-driven development and other automated acceptance testing techniques.
