You will be well versed in how the industry works and already have good relationships with the key players; both lender and intermediary side. You will be proactive and passionate about new technologies and how they might transform the industry.
You will engage closely with your contacts to understand the requirements of their business and their adoption of technologies. You will also monitor activity and developments across the fintech and retail consumer space to ensure the Dashly team are kept up to speed with external developments.
You will support and help shape the lender and intermediary propositions in conjunction with the product and technology teams, supporting Dashly's external partners throughout the process.
As well as dealing with external stakeholders, building internal relationships will be key to ensuring that you are giving the best possible support to our intermediaries and their customers.
Managing a core panel of intermediary relationships to achieve agreed volume and quality targets.
Promoting Dashly's products and services to existing and potential distributors in order to win new/incremental business
Attending trade exhibitions, seminars and corporate hospitality/entertaining to support delivery of the Sales Plan
Constructing and delivering a Sales Plan which details how the mortgage volumes, quality targets and business mix will be achieved from the identified panel through structured activity campaigns, working alongside Marketing, BDU and Field Sales
Compiling market intelligence and competitor product/strategic information, in order to assist in strategic and tactical decision-making
Collaborating with Product Management to deliver a compelling partner proposition.
Keeping broader team appraised of partner strategy and feedback.
Previous experience within BDM/Field Sales role where diary management and activity levels are a key performance indicator
Proven track record of successfully selling to intermediaries/third parties
Presentation skills - ability to construct and deliver sales presentations to individuals and/or groups of varying sizes with confidence, conviction and clarity of message.
Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
Understanding of technology developments, consumer behaviours and industry trends.
Extensive, accurate mortgage product knowledge.
